WHO WE ARE
China Credential Services was founded by Katerina Roskina: an experienced linguist, foreign credential evaluator, educator, and professional translator of Chinese and English languages.
Katerina holds a Master of Arts degree equivalent in Linguistics and Intercultural Communication with a specialization in Mandarin Chinese and speaks, reads and writes fluent Mandarin.
She spent 7 years living and working in China as an educator, curriculum developer, consultant and translator, working for Microsoft, New Oriental and Beijing Sport University.
Prior to founding China Credential Services, she spent 5 years in the United States working as a China Specialist and Credential Evaluator at Educational Credential Evaluators – an international credential evaluation company and a NACES member organization. While at ECE, Katerina conducted multiple E-Learnings and presented at several international education conferences on the topics of Chinese education, transnational education and international credential evaluation.
During her tenure as the President and Senior Evaluator at China Credential Services, Katerina presented over 50 workshops and sessions at national, regional and state level international education conferences, and was awarded the NAFSA Region V Patti Jones Award for Outstanding Leadership in 2019. She also authored three publications on the topics of Chinese education and international student integration.
Currently, Katerina combines her work as a credential evaluator and international education consultant with serving the field of international education as the Past Chair of the Wisconsin Association of International Educators, a Vice-Chair of the NAFSA China MIG, a member of the NAFSA Region V Leadership Team, and a contributor to TAICEP (The Association of International Credential Evaluation Professionals) webinars and NAFSA publications. In additionl to that, Katerina held the position of the NAFSA CEP International Credential Evaluation Workshop Dean between 2017 and 2019, and is a member of the NAFSA Trainer Corps and an experienced NAFSA CEP Workshop Trainer.
As the president of China Credential Services, Katerina believes in promoting international academic exchange by providing high-quality bilingual services that are both expedient and affordable, while utilizing the advances in digital technology to allow for quicker and more secure service delivery.
